Okay our women's group is starting a bible study on Roman's, we are just going to be emailing our thoughts each day after our reading, I am really excited about it! I have really needed some accountability partners to help me with my daily reading.
Our martial arts group does a bible study like this going through the entire bible every year, which is awesome! (If interested you can find the readings here) But i seem to find it really hard to read 3 or so chapters a day, i always feel behind. I that is not a good variable when it comes to motivating yourself to spend time with the Lord. So far it has worked great at me saying to myself 'I am such a Loser for not reading that today' ;).
So at any rate I brought up the idea to a friend and then at women's group and we all like the idea and felt that God was leading us toward reading Romans. And I made this to help us get going, So Here We Go!
(Don't ya just love the wordle I used ;)

Top 'o tha mornin' to ya
Well with St. Patty's day a couple of days away I just wanted to tell you all a little history about this lucky holiday ;), I found this interesting and remember being told about this holiday sometime in my childhood but like most things here lately I had forgotten.
So, the short of it is that St. Patrick was a christian that came back to Ireland - where he was from - to spread the gospel. And he used the Shamrock as a way to explain the trinity to the pagan followers in the country.
St. Patrick's day was a day of remembrance to this man. It was first celebrated in the U.S. in Boston by a bunch of Ireland's.
Now, over the years it has become more of an Irish Holiday and more Irish tales, songs, and art have become part of the holiday (i.e. pot of gold, luck, leprechauns, etc.). But how amazing is it that it actually is a great time maybe share the gospel with a shamrock, or explain God's covenant with a rainbow ;). Isn't it amazing how God works his Glory into all things, even something so small!
Happy St. Patricks Day to ya!
Hope to give you an update about our day, we are planning on having some fun over at a friend's house....
