Today we are making these scrumptious snacks/seeds for our friends, something fun to give us and them some laughs and this dreary rainy day. ;)

Aren't they just too cute and adorable and plus they put a smile on your face, you know it did, and gives you a snack - i have learned with boys they way to their heart is food.

I found these at the wonderful idea site Family Fun, and just so i can find them again too as well as you these are found here. By the way, yes i know that they were meant for april fools day, but they will be fun anyhow, totally didn't know about them until a couple days ago. ;)

Cold, Rainy Day Fun

So, it was a cold, cold, wet day today and instead of just sitting there, just sit, sit, sit, sitting not knowing what to do we had some fun this day and wanted to share it with you ;) - I know a bit too much Dr. Seuss reading around here, we love 'The Cat in the Hat'.

Well, we got up and went out to Home Depot today and made some lovely race cars at the kids workshop.  Our wonderful friend Mrs. Louann came with us - she is the person that told me about the workshops, she used to take her kids and loves coming with us and I could use the help - 3yr old and 5 yr old with hammers and nails = help ;).
And later in the day we made a slide out of Tristen's mattress - it was his idea - and all three boys had a blast with that.  Who needs the park?  On a cold day my living room is a perfect park - a place for Spiderman to practice his climbing and saving skills ;).
